CarMarquet

Nobody likes to be first, and it is nice to see some examples of existing users. Here are a few that we think cover most dealers; you should be able to identify with at least one of them.

Mark Wallace Cars

Mark Wallace Cars was a used car dealership when they started using CarMarquet. As an early adopter they had a lot of input into the features built into CarMarquet; Mark Wallace was actually the first to request automatic upload of cars to AutoTrader.

as an early adopter they had a lot of input into the features

The business then took on a Franchise, and became a Chevrolet dealer. The business changed, and started providing warranty services and motability contracts; CarMarquet was (easily) customised again, to fit the new business model.

Retaining the independence offered by CarMarquet, Mark Wallace Cars has kept the ability to have used cars in front of the web site visitor in two clicks. If you visit many franchised dealers websites, you will realise what a rarirty this is.

Mark Wallace Cars have found CarMarquet makes life easier for them, and gives a fantastic platform to show their used cars to customers. Why don't you join them?

Braidwood Motor Company

Braidwood Motor Company is a used car dealer with a high turnover of stock. They have made a name for themselves in selling high quality luxury model cars at terrific value prices.

Having put up with a history of poor support from their web site provider, and extra work from having to enter cars onto their own web site and then enter them on AutoTrader, Braidwood gave us a ten minute opportunity to impress them.

Braidwood gave us a ten minute opportunity to impress them

The ten minutes came and went, and CarMarquet won the day.

But the story goes on; Braidwood found some operations cumbersome, as they did not fit well with existing business processes. CarMarquet was superior to what they had before, so they were content to put up with this ... but we weren't. A little extra customisation, and the friction disappeared - CarMarquet was changed to fit the business processes, not the other way round. This is how life should be.

Aitken-Walker Cars

Aitken-Walker Cars is a small but busy dealer in the Scottish Borders. They had a system that worked, but was inflexible and needed a lot of maintenance. And then they had to do it again for AutoTrader.

wanted to keep other parts of the website intact

CarMarquet was the answer to their problems; flexible, quick to enter cars, easy to use for the business and their customers. But they had loyalty issues with their existing provider, and wanted to keep other parts of the website intact that did not relate directly to used cars.

No problem. A custom function was developed to allow the CarMarquet engine to be embedded into the existing site. The bits they liked were untouched, and CarMarquet slashed the workload.

Aitken-Walker Cars embraced CarMarquet like a long-lost relative. A problem in the business; providing newspaper advert details takes too long - can CarMarquet do anything to help? A new report, and hours of work was reduced to seconds.

Competition is tough, and the Borders area is low population - how do you reach out to a wider audience and get them to notice? CarMarquet to the rescue again, implementing functions and reports to help position the cars optimally by price.

CarMarquet is not a sign-up and slog-onwards product. We welcome feedback and can move quickly to make adaptations that help you out. There is no "wait for the next release"; because CarMarquet is customised specifically for you, there is no need to consider the effect of changes on other dealers. If you are happy with a new feature, it is built in for new clients and offered to existing clients - at no extra cost.
